Visualizer cut for dynamic wallpaper

Post by Chimichanga John »

Dear community!

I've been looking for a solution for a while now, but I can't seem to find any

I'm using "Amazing Landscape" on Wallpaper Engine and along other skins the "Lano Visualizer".
I know that it's possible to make a cut layer of my wallpaper which I simply place above the visualizer, but since my wallpaper changes its colors (no position changing, only the color, so the cut would stay the same) this solution would look weird

Is there a possibility to change the Lano Visualizer or make a cut or "hide" it behind a "transparent" layer?

Any help is appreciated!

Greetings, Chimichanga

/EDIT: result should be something like this:

The only way I can think of is to offset each band by a desired amount, and then subtract that amount from the band's value. I think the mask function rainmeter has works on images only.

Now the good news.
I lied, there isn't any good news...
