Sorry, if it sounded as if we were unwilling to help, jsmorley explained our reasoning very well...
Here is a 'Toggle Fade Menu' example for you to look at... very basic, but it shows how to setup 2 skins and toggle them with actions.
The 'OnRefreshAction=' actions in the [Rainmeter] sections are the key to getting this to toggle in sync.
This uses string meters, but you could use any type of meter: image, button, etc.
Hope this helps in a general way.
