VClouds Weather 2 codes broken
I had to reinstall Rainmeter from scratch due to a hard drive failure. The problem is when I go to Weather.com to get the weather code, they changed the links and what they give me for a code no longer works. Anyone know how to get a working code? Thanks.

I just checked the site and when I enter my city in the search box, the page refreshes and shows the correct code in the address bar...Traxan wrote:I had to reinstall Rainmeter from scratch due to a hard drive failure. What city do you live in? What code did you try?

So if you set the 'location' variable to USCA1267 in Weather2 settings, you should get it working

Thanks. I had a vague recollection of the code and knew it as soon as I saw your post.
I don't know for the life of me why it would not give me that code. But thank you.

It appears that if you include the zipcode in your search, weather.com will use that number as the reference.Traxan wrote:Thanks. I had a vague recollection of the code and knew it as soon as I saw your post.

Searching for just your city name returns the code you need.
Glad you asked. I am sure others will have a similar experience, and this may help them.
