Large Clean Weather

Post by Shiva »

During the day, it gets the day's forecast from Weather.com. After 3pm, it automatically switches to the night forecast (and substitutes the high temperature forecast with the low temperature forecast).

nice one :10/10:
Zero at programing, zero at writing codes, so far 2 at making images
But I'm good at copy/paste, and I not always like this

Thanks!

The original had a small error ("Today" forecast not automatically showing up the next day), which I've fixed, and replaced the attachment in the OP.

Very clean, elegant, easily legible, and works great (though I do need to grab the update).

Congrats on achieving such nice results and thanks for sharing!

Very simple and quite pleasing visually... nice work!

One thing I have noticed, and in my "newness" to Rainmeter cannot figure out how to fix after toying around with the code, is that when "Cloudy and Windy" is displayed as the current weather, the field for the text as it is coded is too small and the "C" in "Cloudy" is partially cut out.

Likely this is something unique to me but just thought maybe you could look at it... I can't figure it out lol.

AWESOME skin though, thank you!

It sounds like the X value for the meter that has the current weather description isn't quite far enough over. I bet you could replace "and" with an ampersand ("&") and that would give you enough space, rather than moving everything over just a little (which might be more tedious). To keep it consistent with an ampersand, you could just click Ctr+H and replace " And ":" and" with " And ":" & " since it's already substituting "and" for "And".
