Brightness monitoring skin

Post by Bananorpion »

Yop.

I'm repeating the description from my deviantart page 'cause I'm suddenly lazy.
Brightness.ini is a dynamic skin. It is a bit experimental, since it uses my own scripts (Located at Resources\Scripts) and commands independent from Rainmeter. It is not supposed to work on Windows versions earlier than Windows 10, and will definitely not work on any system whose screen brightness is not software-related. (To keep it simple: it may only work if you use Windows 10 on a laptop.) The skin displays as text the system brightness, from 0 to 100, while the Door of Moria is lit up in proportion. The brighter, the higher the door is lit up to. (On my illustration, the brightness setting was 50%.) It should be noted that the measures update on this skin may seem a lot slower than usual Rainmeter measures, from 1 up to 6 or 7 seconds at worst, no worry.

A mouse left click on Durin's Door sets the brightness in proportion.
A mouse scroll up/down on the image sets the brightness +25/-25%.
A mouse scroll left/right on the image sets the brightness to 100/0%.
