I have to work on the faces, not happy with them right now but at least you get the idea of what I'm trying to do.

If you are running a beta and want to target your .rmskin at the release version, you just change it when you create the .rmskin

Obviously you don't want to do that if you are in fact using "beta" features.

Any chance of getting a drop down like the Windows version for the next build?

No, that version number defaults to the version you are running, but it can be any version. If you are using some new feature that was introduced two revisions ago, you might want to target a very, very specific version as the minimum. It might work right on 4.1.2275, but won't on 4.1.2273. So there is no way, since revision numbers are not something Rainmeter can ever know about, other than the one actually running, to have any kind of pull-down.

The version number in that field is meant to be flexible though. if you just say 4, it means "any version 4.0 or later". If you say 4.1 it means "any version 4.1 or later". If you say 4.1.2275, it means "any version of 4.1 at revision 2275 or later". So just put in the minimum you need to get the job done...

Oh man if that had a drop down it would be like a mile long. There's always That One Guy who complained that the version he wanted to limit was not on the list

Now the good news.
I lied, there isn't any good news...
