Hello @raiguard,
First I would like to thank you for this skin, I find very useful and to my personal liking as I like a spartan layout. I am switching over to this skin from illustro and so I a question or two for you. [hopefully you are still around or if someone else sees this they could help also.

1. Chronometer - I have been able to change the look to remove the uptime and event countdown (I have no use for them) but I run into the issue of changing the default time from a 12hr format to a 24 hr format. In the interface I selected the custom time and made the proper change
from: customTimeFormat=%#p:%M:%S
to: customTimeFormat=%H:%M:%S %R
according to the Time Format Reference table.

With no success, I made the change directly in the ChronometerSettings file with no success.
I did try another format code such as %T with no result.

Am I using the incorrect format codes or am I missing something else?
I appreciate any assistance on this.

2. Is it possible to add a second time zone in the chronometer? I am sure there is but I am not very knowledgeable in this field so any answer you give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thank-you.

You don't want the %R, just "%H:%M:%S". Post a screenshot of what you have if this doesn't work for you. Make sure you DO use the Settings skin. Select the Custom option and enter the format you want.

Working fine with the original version...

Apparently you "broke" something with the edits you made to the skin. :sly:

If you post your current code for the 'ModernGadgets/Chronometer/Chronometer.ini', someone can determine what needs to be corrected.

So far the only changes I made was to turn off the Uptime and Event Countdown. But yeah here is the contents of .ini file:

That's a list of variables, but not the "Chronometer.ini" skin code; sadly that is not enough to help. :uhuh:

We would need to see everything you changed in the variables, settings skin, and the chronometer skin to find where it is broken.

It might be better to start with a fresh version of the chronometer.ini skin and re-make the changes to modify the skin.

The only things I have made any changes to with this skin is in this file, is the 1 to a 0 for the
showSystemUptime=0
showEventCountdown=0

that is it.

I can do a reinstall, which wont be that time wasting.

I went ahead and did a re-install of the skin. I see no changes to the chronometer time format, the settings does not appear to work when I use it.

Honestly at this point I am almost ready to let it be but if anyone else has a suggestion.
Either way here is the 2 .ini files

showSystemUptime=0
showEventCountdown=0

that is it.

I can do a reinstall, which wont be that time wasting.
Well neither of those values are in what you posted above :confused:

Raiguard may have an idea, but I would still suggest getting a fresh package, if selecting custom time format of %#H:%M:%S in the settings does not work for you.

Honestly at this point I am almost ready to let it be but if anyone else has a suggestion.
The problem is the timeFormat in your variables file is still set to "WinLong". That means it is ignoring your custom format string. This is why it is best to always use the Settings skin (if provided) instead of tinkering with .ini files directly. But, since you're in there already, change the setting to timeFormat=Custom. That should do it.

In answer to your original second question, I don't think this skin can handle multiple timezones. But this one can. This one uses the time format of your Windows settings, so it will be a 24-hour clock if your Windows locale is set that way, but you can override it if needed.
