MLB Standings

Post by jsmorley »

Major League Baseball current standings for all teams. Updated for 2019.

Shows the standings for each division in each league. Click on the EAST/CENTRAL/WEST at the bottom to switch.

The "logo" is now actually a very cool .otf font from http://daigofuji.github.io/bbclub-font/

The logos will change color from bright and cheerful to dim and humiliated depending the most recent "win" or "loss".

Click on the logos to go to the mlb.com home site for the team.

P.S. Here is that wallpaper in case you want it:

This is awesome! I ended up creating a "compact" version (cutting the icons in half and only showing win-loss) that also fit in with my mostly Enigma-themed sidebar a bit better.

The site where I get the "standings" has completely changed this year, so I have pretty much completely re-worked the skin in the first post in this thread.

Looks like they made another tweak to the HTML.

Replace the variable "Entry" with:

Code: Select all

Entry=.*<span class="team-names">(.*)</span>.*<abbr title=".*">(.*)</abbr>.*class="">(.*)</td>.*class="">(.*)</td>.*class="">(.*)</td>.*class="">(.*)</td>.*class="">.*</td>.*class="">.*</td>.*class=".*>.*</td>.*class="">(.*)</td>.*class="">(.*)</td>

Another tweak to the HTML on the site....

Change the RegExp to:

RegExp=(?siU)<caption><span class="long-caption">#League#</span></caption>.*<th style="text-align: left"><span>#Division#</span>#Entry##Entry##Entry##Entry##Entry#

The .rmskin in the first post has been updated.

Made a small tweak to correct for a change to the HTML they made on the site. Just install the latest .rmskin from

Thanks for the quick fix, I was already starting to have withdrawal symptoms. :-)

Any chance you could put together something like this for rainmeter.

I hate having to use windows gadgets, but this one is very useful.

Yeah, me too. I'm a Nationals fan, so I have to revel in the latest...

Four home runs including a Grand Salami from Bryce Harper, all in the 7th!

I edited the post above but I guess you were already replying.

Take a look at that gadget and let me know what you think.

P.S. - I've been a Mets fan my whole life, it's very rare we have anything to cheer about :-)
