LOL, any response other than that would have told me you were lying about 1972...MourningStar wrote:"...exceptin' Alice" -

Trying to get it to pick up my fans, the CPU and GPU ones aren't working.
I see in the HWiNFO Shared Memory Viewer that my CPU fan value is 0x3000005 and my GPU is 0x3000000
After setting those values under Motherboard, and refreshing the CPU and GPU meters, the fans indicate 0% and 0 RPM respectively.

The sensor ID is wrong. Look at HWiNFO-MOBO-SensorID in your config and it's 0xf0ec0101, but in HWiNFO you can see the ID on the right under Sensor Details is 0xf7067910.

I wasn't looking at my system, both values I quoted are from the screenshot provided by Krux.

In addition to what Milamber33 noted, pay particular attention to the important notes in the settings file. If your GPU fan speed is reported by your GPU sensor, you need to set the motherboard GPU fan sensor variable HWiNFO-MOBO-GPUFan to "0x0" to disable it.Krux wrote:Trying to get it to pick up my fans, the CPU and GPU ones aren't working.

Thank you guys, I didn't realize about the SensorId - felt silly overlooking that actually.
And I changed the mobo gpu sensor to 0x0, working fine now, thanks!
Kind of weird that usage is always at 100% but it shows the rpm which is what matters. Thanks!
