I'm running Windows 7 x64 and this update came up today in Windows update, but when i tried to install it it gave me error code 80070003, i really don't know how to install this update without this error code. I searched so many forums too when people had this similar problem but nobody knows how to fix it.
So you searched through a bunch of support forums, and when they came up empty, you thought that the Rainmeter forums might be more helpful? That's a sign of desperation my friend. All I can tell you is that KB973923 is a code from the Microsoft knowledge base. Search there.

If you haven't got the answer yet... Should try just using a search engine.. Like Metacrawler.com.. one of the first ones up and to the point.. Think outside the box.. ( don't be scared.. LOL - AND DON'T ask the guys at Linux... their answer is ' install Linux '.. fixes all of it.. )
