nVidia transparency

Post by maminscris »

nVidia nView desktop manager has an option to make transparent windows and taskbar, and it seems that it does not like Rainmeter running, when rainmeter is started gives this message "Transparency is temporarily disabled because an application that uses DirectX or 3D hardware features is currently running." after google around I found that somehow visual studio does not like sharing direct x, or nvidia does not like this. Seems to be happening mostly on XP.

All references and post that i found are form 2008, does anyone knows about this and how to fix it?
Zero at programing, zero at writing codes, so far 2 at making images
But I'm good at copy/paste, and I not always like this
