Classic Start Replacing Classic Shell on GitHub

Post by JohnBurns »

Classic Shell was stopped being developed in December, 2017 by it's originator and he released Source Code. Until now, it was uncertain what was going to happen to Classic Start. However in the past few days, Classic Start ( as opposed to Classic Shell) has been updated to work with Insider Windows 10 builds, meaning it will continue to work in Windows 10.

More info can be found at the following links if you are concerned about continuation of this app:

"They came first for the Communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time no one was left to speak up."Martin Niemöller
