don't know if it interest you, but in germany there are 2 universities who lend laptops to their students for the time of their study.
probably they do it to get more students... but hey... you get a laptop for free...

Hmm... As good as $30 is, as a Computer Science student, I can get it for free :D.

Nice of MS to recognize the size of a student budget though.

why even to bother with buying windows OS, when u can get Linux for free :))
