IRC chat terminated!! ?????

hi guys am new to this irc thing..., when i try to enter by pressing 'connect' i get a message 'terminated' in red color under the connect button.... wat 2 do???

Looks like a mibbit problem. I don't have time to investigate now.

My bad, I should be watching these things more closely.

As an alternative, and there are many, I generally use Chatzilla.
This is a Firefox add on, and serves me well.
Especially on my Potable Drive

Now if I could just find the IRC's Address

Ah, here we go:
[url]irc://irc.freenode.net/rainmeter[/url]

If you have Chatzilla installed on Firefox, it will bring up the IRC when you click the above URL.

I know it is an extra step, but a viable option for now :geek:

Thanks Rorix. Mibbit is apparently trying to correct the issues that freenode is concerned with.
