Suggestion !

Post by GhostMatrix »

It could be great if in the "Rainmeter Help" section of the forum, the topic starter or the staff if it not done by the member, to edit the topic title by adding at the beginning [Resolved] when the question or issue about something is resolved.
That way it will be easier for the other members who want to help, to pin-point (spot) the ones who are not resolved yet.

I have edited the topic "<![CDATA[Blog]]> is displayed in HUD RSS-feed." for an example ...

This is just my Image

Agreed

I wonder if there is a way to make a selection tool, with simple buttons, that the moderators and admin can control that would give a short list of options that could be added to the title header area, and the thread post.

Option examples

O Open
O re-opened
O Pending
O Test phase
O Corrected
:?: :?: :?:

Something like that, otherwise, us poor forum regulators will be running around for days to come behind every one and attempting to "tag" the post

Nothing like that in PHPBB without a major, code changing mod.

However there is a feature that you have turned off (maybe because of a limitation of the "Saphic" theme)

PHPBB has a thing called "topic icons" which are like "smilies" but are shown at the left of the topic subject line when viewing the forums.

You choose them as part of creating the post, like this:

and it shows in the list of messages like this:

We can set it up with only two of these icons, one for an active problem and one for a solved problem. Then the owner, moderator, or admin can just change the icon on the first post in a thread from active to solved and done...

P.S. Can we PLEASE use the smilies from my site? See how much nicer they look? ;-)

@ Morely-Sama.

Now all we have to do is shrink it down and make Smiley of it.

GM was kind enough to make a smiley of "the Sarge" once, although I can not immediately find it :(
