In the Functions section of the Formulas help page, the explanation of the Sgn function is incomplete. It says "Return 1 if x is positive, -1 if x is negative.". The complete explanation would be "Return 1 if x is positive, -1 if x is negative or 0 if x is zero.".
The same observation is true for both: 3.3 Manual and 4.0 Beta Manual.
