New forum look That you have been switched to

Post by sgtevmckay »

I am certain many of you are shocked to all get out on the style you have just been forced to utilize.

Our beloved JSMorley is busting his behind to get this style tweaked properly for our use.

The overall theme is to become the new default for the Rainmeter forums.

During this time we would appreciate input on tweaks to the total outlay, and what needs adjustment.
I know that this forum style takes a bit of getting used to.

If for you dislike this theme style, you may go into your User Control Panel and reset your theme to which ever style you prefer, at any time.

I hope that this does not create for any major inconvenience and that many of you will approve of, and use, the new style.

(I suppose this will be the thread to report on anything so..)

Looks really nice!
I'm sure going to use it, as all the other alternatives is... well.. less to my liking.

However. There are some things that's sort of bugging me. Not all that much, but a little never the less.
The first thing is the click-box at the top (this has already been reported in another thread so...)
The other is the size of the

Code: Select all

-boxes. I'm not sure if you can change this. But right now they seem very small, to me at least. So if they can be pumped up a bit, everything would be splendid. ^^
I don't think, therefore I'm not.

Zero at programing, zero at writing codes, so far 2 at making images
But I'm good at copy/paste, and I not always like this

The header background is too small. Make it at least 1920px wide :)

but personally i have to agree with Yelleke.

anyway i welcome a template that looks like the Rainmeter homepage. but rainmeter_pearl is far away from that at the moment (in my opinion).
i would like to see it in complete dark black, but probably this would harm the clarity.
