Not sure I understand why image meter options are on a different page from the Image meter entry then... :?

Because General Image Options work on more than just Image Meters. There are several meters that support images as part of their functionality. This is why we also have General Meter Options and General Measure Options, instead of repeating the dozens of options that are shared by meters or measures on each and every of their individual pages.

Try any* of the General Image Options on a Bar Meter using BarImage for instance. Or BitMap, Button, or Rotator. Or the skin background set in [Rainmeter].

* There are some limitations with General Image Options for some meter types, which are spelled out on the page for the meter type itself.
