New [doc] bbcode for the forum

At the request of a couple of plugin authors, we have added a new bbcode to the forums to allow you to create a header block with left and right justified text, and a body text that can be anything you want, including other bbcodes as needed.

This is to allow you to create "documentation", much like what we use in the Rainmeter documentation now.

Usage: Note that we use ;; as the separator, to avoid conflicts with your actual text.

Code: Select all

[doc]Left Header;;Right Header;;Body Text[/doc]

So this:

Code: Select all

[doc]This is the left header;;This is the right header;;This is some body text with [size=150][color=#BF0000][Shadow]other bbcodes[/Shadow][/color][/size] embedded in it.
[/doc]

Gives you:
This is the left headerThis is the right header
This is some body text with other bbcodes embedded in it.

In addition, although it won't show up in the bbcodes you can just "select" from the top when you are editing, we have added a second "doc2" bbbcode to allow you to embed a "doc" within a "doc".

First Left HeaderFirst Right Header
This is the first level of your documentation

Second Left Header
This is the second level of your documentation

And back to the first level...

And back outside any doc bbcodes.

Code: Select all

In addition, although it won't show up in the bbcodes you can just "select" from the top when you are editing, we have added a second "doc2" bbbcode to allow you to embed a "doc" within a "doc".

[doc]First Left Header;;First Right Header;;This is the [b]first level[/b] of your documentation

[doc2 #E09028]Second Left Header;;;;This is the [b]second level[/b] of your documentation[/doc2]

And back to the first level...[/doc]

And back outside any doc bbcodes.

NOTE: with the "doc2" bbcode, you MUST specify what you want for the background color in the format:

Code: Select all

[doc2 #FFFFFF]Left Header;;Right Header;;Body Text[/doc2]

With "doc", you CAN'T specify a color.

Hint: Nothing says you HAVE to have a "doc" to use "doc2".

Left HeaderRight Header
Body Text

This should give you some flexibility with colors. "doc" will always be the blue we use in the documentation, "doc2" can be any color you like, although be careful, the text will always be white.
