Why what? Is there some interest you have in ancient, useless versions of the site's main page?

We are not blocking the Wayback Machine in particular, we just are not interested in having web-bots in general crawling around on the main site.

This was mostly accidental. I just fixed it so the Wayback Machine should start working again soon.
