Disclaimer #2:
- this may be what you are looking for.
- this was done on Windows XP on a single monitor.
- this works on my computer, it may not work on yours.
- if you want something done, then start doing it ... (so I did).

Blurs your current wallpaper.
Top image is normal, bottom after loading or refreshing 'BlurWall'.
Will stretch current wallpaper image to current screen resolution, and blur it.
Hold 'Ctrl' key then right-click for context menu, middle-click to refresh BlurWall (will place it behind all other skins)

Thanks for the 'nudge' moshi

EDIT: version 0.2 ... added expanded context menu to change blur levels, and removed meter that popped up on blurring activity.
version 1 ... modified the skin to use the wallpaper image stored in AppData\Roaming\Rainmeter and re-sized to allow edge detection on other skins
Skin will blur image in the background, may take a second to show. Will automatically blur new wallpaper, works with Windows 10 Slideshow.

:rolmfao:

That will DEFINITELY blur any wallpaper, if 'applied' liberally!

Interesting... I wonder how hard it would be to blur a portion of the screen...
