Odd Behavior When Monitors Wake Up

Post by y0himba »

Hello. I am getting older, so my vision isn't what it was. I was running a 24 inch monitor at 2048x1152 on my Geforce GTX 1080 Ti, but traded my son for a 32 inch monitor that runs at 1080p. I have my computer set to never hibernate as I run a media server on it. My monitors turn off after 5 minutes. When the monitors resume, Rainmeter is unresponsive and some of the gadgets have disappeared. I have tried turning hardware acceleration on and off in Rainmeter.

I need to use task manager to end the Rainmeter process, then start it up again and everything runs fine until I leave the computer and my monitors switch off. When I return, same odd behavior. This did not happen with my 24 inch 2048x1152 monitors.

My setup:
*Rainmeter 4.3.0.3298 (64-bit)
*Language: English (1033)
*Build time: 2019-03-18 11:00:34
*Commit Hash: 3593c281
*Windows 10 Pro 1903 64-bit (build 18362) - English (1033)
*Path: C:\Program Files\Rainmeter\
*SkinPath: D:\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\
*SettingsPath: C:\Users\y0himba\AppData\Roaming\Rainmeter\
*IniFile: C:\Users\y0himba\AppData\Roaming\Rainmeter\Rainmeter.ini
*32GB RAM
*Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti driver version 436.02

What other information can I provide to help troubleshoot this odd behavior?
