[Feature Request] BevelWidth option

Post by Yincognito »

Skin developers can draw a bevel around the margins of their skins (when BackgroundMode=2 is set in the Rainmeter section) or meters , and they can choose the bevel's type between None, Raised and Sunken by setting the BevelType option to 0, 1 and 2, respectively. This however, draws a standard bevel with a fixed width/thickness (3px, if I'm not mistaken) that looks rough if you need more finesse to it.

A BevelWidth option in Rainmeter (for both skins and meters) should be easy to add and implement, if the drawing of the bevel is made by Rainmeter and not the OS itself. Sure, Windows 10 doesn't use bevels that much anymore, but still it would be nice to be able to control a bevel's width instead of being stuck with a fixed width bevel that may look reasonably well on some skins, but really crude on others.
