Your previous layout is there as Rainmeter.bak in AppData, but if you just put it back as is, Rainmeter is just going to start crashing again.

You need to open that Rainmeter.bak in a text editor, and using that as a reference, start loading the skins you were loading before. At some point you are going to find the one that is crashing Rainmeter, and you can edit the active Rainmeter.ini to remove it. The long and the short of it is that you want to find out which skin(s) are causing the problem. My guess is that it is going to be one that is using some 3rd-party plugin, that is no longer working with Windows. If you can track it down, we would be interested to know which one it is.

Worked also for me and loading @backup restored previous skins :D
