I noticed when updating my rainmeter from 3.3 to 4.0, the nowplaying.dll is gone. I had to reinstall 3.3, copy the nowplaying.dll, reinstall 4.0 and paste it in the plugins folder.
Also MusicBee is no longer a supported player with nowplaying.dll , no big deal, foobar is still kickin' it.

Re: NowPlaying.dll is not included with Rainmeter 4.0
NowPlaying is no longer an external plugin, but is baked into Rainmeter as a measure. Delete that NowPlaying.dll you copied over from 3.3, it won't be used and isn't needed.
Nothing needs to be done in any skins, as Measure=Plugin / Plugin=NowPlaying still works, as does Measure=NowPlaying.

Ah LoL, shows how much I've been away. At first I thought that was why MusicBee wasn't working, that's how noticed NowPlaying.dll was missing, trying to find the issue, but good deal, thanks jsmorley.
