I still have a computer running Windows XP... :sly:
Some software I use can only run with it (16 bit) and there's nothing, until now, which can try to beat or mimic those "old" programs at all.

My main computer uses Windows 7 and a dual boot with Windows 10 (...parked there, until I can have a decent interface and all customized as I want. ugh! ...what a nightmare)

I tested using 4.0.0 r2746 64-bit (Jan 1 2017) on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (build 7601) Service Pack 1, and if Rainmeter runs as administrator, NowPlaying (measure or plugin) shows nothing.

Just to add to this conundrum... :D

I do not have problems with NowPlaying, in either mode (norm/admin) with several different skins.

Here is Soita using WinAmp (Administrator mode):

Here are my Rainmeter/System specs:
4.0.0 r2746 64-bit (Jan 1 2017)
Windows 10 Pro Insider Preview 64-bit (build 14986) @ fonpaolo :p

That's it! That's exactly what I'm talking about. Mine neither work in admin mode, but it does perfectly in normal mode.
BTW, I'm using the following version of Rainmeter:

4.0.0 beta r2720 64-bit (Nov 27 2016)
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (build 14393)
Path: C:\Program Files\Rainmeter\

It is WMP  :x :x

I have tried with WinAmp and it works in either mode (as user and as administrator).

Interesting! So, finally it seems that not the plugin is guilty, but the player?

Well, I have Windows 10 Pro 64 bit as second boot, the problem is only related on how I can use it as I want, not as Microsoft wants. :p
