fonpaolo wrote:1- do you guys create playlists for your players?
Usually not, however sometimes I do.
fonpaolo wrote:2- if so, where do you usually save them?
In those rare moments when I did, I saved it (them) to the default location, which is the Playlists folder, under my Music folder.
fonpaolo wrote:3 - what player(s) are you using?
For music, the new Music Groove. For movies, the also new Movies and TV (both available in Win 10).
If I'll want to switch to another player, I'd do to any, excepting Spotify. Here you can find out why: https://forum.rainmeter.net/viewtopic.php?p=131041#p131041
Since I'm using now a SSD, I'd not install Spotify, for nothing in the world.

I'm already using it... but it's in an early, rough stage, basically, I'm controlling the media player thru my skin, nothing new, you can think...
...the point is: the player is loaded minimized, I control playlists and songs directly thru the skin without any interaction with the player.

Obviously, it's a lot easy if I can change only some instructions, when changing player, the fact that all the players are using the same "Music" folder it's already good, I have only to change the playlist's extension to match it at the player used.

...and I'm trying to do all this without Lua! ;-)

It's interesting to load it minimized. How do you do it?

Thanks balala for the question...

I'm trying to do it with a command line ;-)
...then using FileView and WebParser.

As I said it's still rough, and I have to find a way to "adapt" it to every player NowPlaying supports... O.O
