I would avoid mouse down usage as much as possible, mainly because it prevents positioning using dragging.
No crashes... but, you might want to include my suggestion to add LogSubstringErrors=0 to the [MeasureResults] to eliminate the errors in the log.

Yup. I added LogSubstringErrors=0 after I replied and it eliminated the errors as you said! Thanks for that tip and your general help! Everything runs smoothly now
