When using Rainmeter with SysInfo plugin on Windows Server 2019, the meter "OS_VERSION" falsely reports "Windows Server 2016" instead of "Windows Server 2019".
I'd be happy to help with collection debug info, I just have no clue where the plugin tries to query the Windows version from
Regards,
Fabian
Edit: Rainmeter version 4.3.0.3298 64-bit
SysInfo version 1.4.0.0

Thanks for reporting. We haven't updated the server versions for the SysInfo plugin yet, but we will for the first 4.4 beta.

Re: [Bug] SysInfo Plugin does not support Windows Server 2019
Hmmm. We attempted to add this back in 2019, but since no developer had access to Windows Server 2019, we could not test.
Could you try this special build and test?
https://builds.rainmeter.net/Rainmeter-4.4-r3434-beta-special.exe (you may get a SmartScreen warning when installing)
If this does not work for you, could you post your version information?

Re: [Bug] SysInfo Plugin does not support Windows Server 2019
Hi Brian,
just tried it, but the plugin still shows "Windows Server 2016" on a Server 2019 machine.
Version info:
Rainmeter 4.4.0.3434 beta (64-bit)
Language: German (1031)
Build time: 2021-03-06 0:40:09
Windows Server 2019 Standard 1809 64-bit (build 17763) - German (1031)
Path: C:\Rainmeter-test\
SkinPath: C:\Rainmeter-test\Skins\
SettingsPath: C:\Rainmeter-test\
IniFile: C:\Rainmeter-test\Rainmeter.ini
I tried with 32 und 64 bit versions of Rainmeter, no differences there.
Regards,
Fabian

Re: [Bug] SysInfo Plugin does not support Windows Server 2019
I believe I have solved this for the next beta (albeit in a rather hacky way).

I just tried the latest beta and can confirm it does display the correct server version in my test environment.
Thanks.
