Neon Volume Bars 1.0

Post by Seahorse »

Just wanted to tinker with an idea a little proving it works before doing something more complicated. This is the result (of the idea - not the complicated bit :sly: ) which looks OK on dark desktops...

These are neat, but why oh why did you put the maximum volume at the bottom of the vertical bars? I clicked at the bottom expecting it to mute the speakers and got blasted for my trouble :o

Is it something to do with driving on the wrong side of the road and going the wrong way around roundabouts?

The main reason was I was using the horizontal ones to test with! You are right though, I'll need to sort that, I'll have a look this evening... :o

While you're at it, you might also like to add a [MeterVolume0] and move all the MeterVolume images 2-3 pixels to the left so that when you click on the 20% mark you set the volume at 20% rather than at 25%.

Was still too fiddly. Gone with increments of 10 pixels straddling the dividers, so all the x5 values removed, seems better.

Playing with a larger version, but having issues with the graphics, still, it's heading the right direction...
