JSNetStatus

Post by jsmorley »

Uses the same approach as the Windows 7 Notification Area to check the status of your network connection. Also indicates upload and download activity.

Just run this .rmskin
JSNetStatus.rmskin
(26.29 KiB) Downloaded 181 times
NetworkError.png
NetworkOk.png
NetworkIn.png
NetworkOut.png
NetworkBoth.png

I would add the option of opening the network cpl from the skin. But, this is just an "Example" so... i guess thats something a skinner would add..

Yeah, that would be useful, or a middle click to open your favorite bandwidth monitor app, etc...

Yep, something to that effect.

Im working with rundll right now, and im learning quite a bit about it, mostly because im trying to find a way to open the calender in the notification tray to help that one guy that was looking for a way.

I would also guess that rundll.exe is the way to go for that. Not sure.

I don't see it here though... You can open the clock "properties", but don't see the actual clock/calendar panel.
