simplistic

Post by QuakeGuy »

I made and use this skin for several years now. I haven't made it public, because it only shows a 4 core cpu correctly and the day description is in german only.

Nonetheless some people are interested so here is version 2.0.

- shows time and date with weekday
- shows user and hostname
- colorized uptime (from white to red)
- shows windows version
- visualize cpu usage (4 cores -> colorized over 60%)
- visualize ram usage
- visualize all hdd/sdd activity
- visualize network usage with traffic counter (up/down) and shows ip addresses (local/public)

ive increased the refresh rate of it to 200ms and im noticing the cpu meters going from low to high a lot, when task manager (also with a high refresh rate) is showing that my cpu is idling around 8-10%
from what i see you are just pulling the information from the system itself but i may be missing something.
