A simple skin that shows the combined free space from all available drives on your system.
Initial refreshes set for every 10 minutes. Manually refresh using middle-mouse button.
The info for individual drives is available in the child measures for use if you want to create separate meters for each drive.
Haven't tested with network drives, but should work AFAIK.

I so got used to seeing bars showing how full drives are that is so weird to see a bar indicating free space. Very smart skin, ET!

In short, I agree with Eclectic Tech. Why not show both or provide a choice? I only need to see Total and Free. "Used" is of no use to me.

So I hacked my "17Disks.ini" and got it displaying the free space instead of Used. (change "InvertMeasure=1" to "InvertMeasure=0")
What I couldn't figure out is how to get it to say "Free" where it now says "used".

Suggestions?

Use a text editor that has search capabilities (like Notepad++) and search for "used" and replace them with "Free".

Or you can post your code here and I am sure it can be modified.

A New Topic button exists on the sections of this forum (like Share Your Creation):

but doesn't when you open a discussion (like this one):

Thanks. I swear that button wasn't there last time I looked (even did an in page search for New Topic and found nothing) but its there now.

And as no one has replied to my substantive query (probably because "Share your Creations" is the wrong place for such queries, I'll try to create a new topic in General Discussions unless I see something more obviously appropriate.

I think it was there. It always is, even if you're not logged in. In a such case if you click it, you have first to log in, but the button is there. But searching for New Topic definitely doesn't help, to get the button. It makes a search in the already posted topics and won't identify the button. But, it is not there on Board index, if you didn't open a section (eg Help: Rainmeter Skins).

The bit I didn't clarify was that I haven't used eclectic-tech's offering. I merely used their topic to raise my question.

My own mod is much simpler. Its a tweak of the "Disks" skin which I achieved by modifying Disks.ini (or, in my case, Disks17.ini because I have 17 drives listed) I'm looking to change the word at the end of each Disk summary line from "used" to "Free". Nothing else. I've already managed to get it displaying the right numbers (the freespace rather than used) and I can't even claim that its confusing to see "used" because I know it doesn't really apply. It's an irritant more than anything; although I was, more generally, thinking about how one could prep different versions of the ini to perform slightly different tasks and realised that unless I know how to modify the line text, the variations would be fairly useless to anyone except the author.
