Skin to display and control a USB drive. Simply edit the .ini to change the variable "Drive=" to your desired drive letter and refresh.

Left click will browse the device in Windows Explorer, middle click will safely eject the device using the included USB Disk Ejector utility from here: http://quick.mixnmojo.com/

Hi jsmorley,
nice skin. Sadly, the USB Disk Ejector executable crashes on my system (Windows 7 64bit) as soon as I middle-click. Here's the crash details:

Anwendungsversion: 1.3.0.3
Anwendungszeitstempel: 4ee35d3c
Fehlermodulname: StackHash_abcc
Fehlermodulversion: 0.0.0.0
Fehlermodulzeitstempel: 00000000
Ausnahmecode: 80000002
Ausnahmeoffset: 7701d7d8
Betriebsystemversion: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
Gebietsschema-ID: 1031
Zusatzinformation 1: abcc
Zusatzinformation 2: abcc8f7853b48d9807d6d51eb1fa5df9
Zusatzinformation 3: abcc
Zusatzinformation 4: abcc8f7853b48d9807d6d51eb1fa5df9

Because of this the skin also loses track of the status of the removable disk and shows 100% utilization when I unmount the disk using the regular windows method. I'll have a look at the homepage for the USB removal utility and see if there's any information or updates.
Regards,

Unfortunately, I have no control over the addon that ejects the drives, as it is a 3rd party utility from http://quick.mixnmojo.com/. You might want to contact that author to report the issue you are having, although I must say it works perfectly fine for me, also on Windows 7 64bit.

Here are replacements for the .ini and .lua files that will properly handle things if you eject using Windows instead of the little utility.

jsmorley,

thanks, I appreciate your help. I'll deactivate the skin for now until I've been able to sort out the crash or found an alternate method for ejecting the drive. It's not a high priority issue for me, but a nice addition to my collection of skins.
