Rainmeter to Run on Ubuntu? (Your vote counts!!!)

Post by sgtevmckay »

Normally I would not post this topic here, but I consider this to be a huge opportunity, and I think the more folks that participate in the vote, the better.

LifeHacker has just tipped of that Ubuntu is taking a pole directly for suggestions regard third party and windows run software (paid or otherwise)!!!!
http://lifehacker.com/5450943/tell-ubuntu-which-third+party-apps-you-want-available?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+lifehacker%2Ffull+%28Lifehacker%29

This is an opportunity for our community, indeed all people, to vote to have Ubuntu take notice of Rainmeter directly.

Will it succeed...Who knows, but a vote can not hurt, and it may ultimately lead to a Rainmeter for all distros.
As many know...If Ubuntu adopts it, every distro jumps to it ;)

This is a vote directly to Ubuntu dev folks, and is to be reviewed closely according to the Ubuntu blog posts.

If you would like your voice heard, here's the spot:

Not a Linux user myself yet but I voted. Might mention you have to "write in" Rainmeter at the bottom of the Survey.
