You need only install on top of your existing installation.
No need to uninstall 3.2.1 or worry about overwriting changes you have made.

That should fix it.
This problem occurs becuase we upgraded to a newer version of Visual Studio for the latest 3.3 builds. Unfortunately HWiNFO requires DLLs that we no longer ship as part of Rainmeter 3.3 RC. You will need to install the Visual Studio 2013 redistributable package to get those DLLs.
That fixed it. Will it be necessary to reinstall vcredist_x64.exe after updating Rainmeter to future builds?
Thank you for your help.
jsmorley wrote:No, the issue is currently and only with the HWiNFO plugin and Rainmeter, and once you have installed the VS2013 runtime libraries in Windows, you are good to go.
No runtime libraries of any kind will be required for Rainmeter itself, or any built-in plugins now and in the future.
We are hopeful that the author of the HWiNFO plugin will address this (we are furiously trying to contact him as we speak) and make this unnecessary for other users going forward.
