Start Menu search idea

I was wondering if there is a skin that exists already where you can use the search function on the Windows 7 start menu. For example when you click the start orb on Windows 7 there is a search bar that comes up with the start menu. Within that you can search for anything on your computer.. Is this a possibility, or does it already exist?

I noticed RainInput created by JSMorley, but wouldn't have the slightest of ideas how to configure it to do what I'd like it to.

Edit: Also, a skin like SendTweet by JSMorley would be useful to compile e-mail messages directly from your desktop in the convenience of a Rainmeter skin. Of course, there are other things to consider like compose and reply options also on your Gmail skin.

What about something like other progam like Launchy? Skins are easy to make for it. It's a big part of my desktop.
