Hello Forum Users...
I love customizing computers from the inside out, and while i was searching for a new docking program...(object dock wasnt doin it for me) i found rocketdock...and i found a skin that i really loved. This author also uses rainmeter and lo and behold i fell in love...my computer has never felt more personal. Theres just one problem i have, when im running a window, such as google chrome or a music player i like to have them minimized so i can still see my desktop. But anyways thats all useless information heres my suggestion.
A music selector, something that looks like all the other configs in the enigma pack ...what it would basically be is something that looks just like the notes or a reader except it displays the artist/songname of whats currently in your playlist depending on if you use itunes or whatever....now i havent done programming in a while or else i would have tried myself...ide figure ide leave it to the experts. im not even sure if what im asking for is possible so just let me know....thanks =)

Did that with foobar. Just couldn't figure out how to stop it from opening the webbrowser if you selected an item.
But the playlist shows.

I don't think, therefore I'm not.

Re: Music Selector
this is certainly possible i made a similar skin 1 years back. it would be even easier now with new rm features, and it is something i plan to work on in near future. (a one for all music skin). i also found a nice skin called lyrics grabber by kenzO that displays lyrics from internet when music playing or nothing when no music.

There's this great little search engin called "Google", might have heard about it? Anyway. It lets you search for things. It's actually really great, though most people might not know about it.Llambda wrote:It uses foo_httpcontrol, so be sure to have that. is what is says on the link to the app....but idk what that is
I wouldn't be surprised if you would find anything about foo_httpcontrol if you searched for it. In fact. I wouldn't be surprised at all if you would find the google.code page for it (yeah. Google also have this thing where you can host project, nice huh?) as the second hit in the search.
Btw. You can find the search engin here: http://www.google.com/
