I have installed Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019, from the section with the same title on the link provided by eclectic-tech above. However doesn't work. As said both your plugins are working, but the original one doesn't, not even with the above said version of VS installed. Question is if with another version of VS the original plugin would work.
oZone wrote: November 3rd, 2019, 10:04 am This mess is caused by MS. Fortunately the latest Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable share the same redistributable files.
To be sure user should use latest version Visual C++ Redistributable for these "years" 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015-2019.
MS many times causes such messes. Although I suppose I have installed the latest VS (see above), the original plugin doesn't work.
oZone wrote: November 3rd, 2019, 10:04 am For this plugin I would use the one with no Visual C++ Redistributable dependency (Udisk_no_MSVCR_DLL.zip), to be safe,
unless you expect/want all your users to have latest Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable.
What I expect is a thing, but probably not all of them will have, so I probably will go on with the plugins of Udisk_no_MSVCR_DLL.zip, as you've recommended.
 Thank you again for your effort to help me with this annoying question.
