Yeah, if the acceleration is turned on.

Is your graphics driver up to date?

Doing a quick search for Intel HD Graphics 5500, brings me this: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27780/Graphics-Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-40-?product=86210

Also, are you using editing your system's theme in some way? The "Close/Minimize/Maximize" buttons are not standard.

Updating the drivers has not helped the problem.
I use 3rd party theme. I doubt it can cause the problem. I do not have any programs running on the background or on strartup which change the appearance. The way I do it is I simply patched several system files (themeservice.dll, themeui.dll, uxtheme.dll) to make them allow applying external themes.

Update: I restored the original files, it didn't help.

Update 2: Brian, looks like I found the issue, well, at least how to make this issue not appear. Turning off desktop composition feature in the performance settings fixes the problem for me.

Tested the code posted in this thread and from my topic here, everything runs fine.

Here is the result. Couldn't record with a gif recorder this time, had to record with another software which saves an output as .mp4. (For some reason turning off the desktop composition made rainmeter skins invisible for that software.)

oZone wrote:It seems there is no problem with Nvidia GeForce 900 and 10 series. Problem is mainly with newer Intel HD Graphics and older Nvidia Geforce cards.

Here is how skin looks after leaving mouse from it using older Nvidia card with certain driver (latest available).

Problem with Nvidia is on Windows 7 (on Windows 10 no, same PC multiboot) and on Windows 10 (other PC with different card). Intel only Windows 10 (other PC, thanks to friends I can test it with different configuration :D ). All drivers are latest from Intel or Nvidia, or from Windows update.

To be clear, cause I'm not, do you ever have this problem on Windows 10?
