Hi. As i understand by reading this, Rainmeter can receive WM_COPYDATA messages from other applications and will understand them as !Bangs (provided the string is actually a valid bang).
Are there other Window Messages that Rainmeter can receive? (i didn't see a list of them).

While we are talking messages, is it possible to send a WM_COPYDATA message from Rainmeter using the Window Message plugin? I would guess no as there is no way to pass a string to this plugin but IIUC the WM_COPYDATA message does not actually pass the string, but rather tells the receiving application where to read the string.

I ask this because i'm currently trying to build some sort of mini file browser in AutoHotKey that i could use to launch files or applications quickly from a skin. Being able to pass a path or font options to it could be nice.

Well, at least now i konw how i can hide the "browser" after using it :)

It's also a great way to add hotkeys support to Rainmeter. :thumbup:
