Creating Invisible Folder on your Desktop

Post by thatsIch »

Hello Com,

today I'm here to give access to a solution to one of the most annoying things when using a Rainmeter Skin.

Have you ever wished to use the standard windows folders to drag and drop your incoming stuff but still blends in every theme you are using?

My Solution was to make invisible Folders!

[Summary]
  • Create Folder
  • Make Folder Invisible
  • Make Text Invisible
Create Folder
Rightclick on your desktop and create a new folder; name doesnt matter.

Make Folder Invisible
Rightclick on Folder > Preferences > Adjust(?) > Other Symbol > Select Invis Symbol

Shoud look like this

Make Text Invisible
Press F2 to change the Text. Hold ALT and type 0160 to get an invis symbol

Heh. Nice workaround. :) The final step is to make the skin click through, and then you can throw things in it, I suppose.
Inactive, due to life changes. Send me a PM for any question.
