Rainmeter 2.0 wont start?

Post by ge0123 »

Hi there, I just downloaded Rainmeter 2.0, 64 bit for Windows 7. Basically, when I first installed it the standard 'start-up' skin had installed correctly. I then proceeded to close all the standard skins and downloaded a new one (http://customize.org/rainmeter/skins/70834), but for some reason when i right click on the rainmeter icon (as instructed here http://customize.org/rainmeter/help/How_To_Use_Rainmeter_Skins) both on my desktop and taskbar there is no option for 'Configs' etc and double clicking doesn't open Rainmeter. I found a thread that had been started by someone who seemed to have the exact same problem, but with only one reply asking for more specific info back in April 2011, i figured it would be better to make a new thread. Thanks.

After installing a new skin, right click rainmeter icon & select refresh all if the file was not in .rmskin format. Should appear afterwards.
