rainmeter 2.1 & 2.0 -- problems installing

when i go to download either rainmeter 2.0 and/ or 2.1 it cant install all the way. It gives me an error saying... error opening file for writing: C:\program files\rainmeter\addons\rainstaller\rainstaller.exe........ any ideas on what to do? i've tried aborting it and reinstall it.. it does the same thing, if i hit ignore then i cant add any skins

Open Task Manager (CTRL + ALT + DEL) and check if Rainstaller.exe is running. If it is, kill it (End Task). Then try again.

Odd that Rainstaller is running without you noticing it. Have you accidentally added it to the startup list (and somehow managed to make it launch hidden) or something?

well thank you.. thats one place i didn't think to look.. that did the trick.. it has successfully installed both 2.0 and 2.1
