Might be. But I doubt it worth using a final release only for this reason. As said, betas are perfectly stable and additionally almost always have a lot of new features, which are not available in final releases.

I agree. Personally I was never a fan of auto notification or auto updating, I always checked and install things manually, but that's just me - other folks prefer the opposite.

Probably not long. We don't have a firm date yet though. We are still working through some details with the new "silent install" and "WinGet" stuff. Need to be sure we have all that "right" before we do a final version release.
