Network measurements

Post by NegativeIQ »

Hey folks, i have Local area connection that is unused, hamachi driver that emulates network interface, VPN that is used like once a month and Internet connection using 3G modem.

Now i would like to measure network activity only for that Internet connection using 3g modem (Its named Flat).
How would i ignore everything else and just measure that one? Im not asking for a specific skin but im willing to use any skin for these to work, if i dont like it i can always edit it :D
Oh by the way, i would like to measure both incoming and outgoing as whole, displaying them as In/Out/All is a big plus.

You can do this if you specify which network interface you are interested in monitoring. Rainmeter provides this option for you in the network measures. Just about any skin you like can be modified to do what you need.

If you want a skin that is already built for this, you can try this skin here: http://fav.me/d8n4kvx

The Wireless Meter can be used for what you want to do, as it monitors a single interface. Just configure the Wireless Interface with the index number associated with your adapter. The Network Meter will also work, as it adjusts to the active adapter automatically.
