How to start Rainmeter when you turn on the computer

Post by Aisha_rrd »

Greetings,

I remeber there was an option on the setup, where you were able to choose if you wanted Rainmeter to start when turning the computer on, but I wasn't sure if I wanted so back then, and I didn't activate it. Now I want Rainmeter to run automatically when I start my computer but I can't find the option anymore.

Sorry for such a simple question, couldn't find the answer anywhere, although I'm sure it's easy to fix.

Thanks for the help!

Simply install Rainmeter again, and check the box when you do.

Nothing about your current setup or files will be changed by doing this.

:D Fantastic! I was scanning the board looking for this exact question. When I first installed the program, I unchecked the option to auto load until i tested it with the stability of my system too.
So, before I reinstalled the .exe file, I made sure Rainmeter was not running in my system tray, then (with fingers crossed) reinstalled and made sure the auto load on startup was checked. Afterwards, I ran Rainmeter and it loaded my skin and layout.. I did not need to do anything! :)
So, just sending my thanks... Thank you :rosegift:

Other way is to add a shortcut for Rainmeter to your startup folder Window 10 location below.

Code: Select all

C:\Users\<YOUR USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
