New to Rainmeter so hope this isn't a stupid question.
No matter what skin I try, just can't seem to get gmail to work. Gnometer, DC2, Enigma, and others but even after configuring and entering proper information, refreshing the skin, it still doesn't work.
Is this a "Rainmeter-wide" problem?
Have the latest version:
3.2.1 r2386 64-bit (Mar 24 2015)
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (build 7601) Service Pack 1

There isn't a problem with Rainmeter...MParolini wrote:New to Rainmeter so hope this isn't a stupid question.

I suspect you may have recently changed to 2-step verification to access your email (Google has been pushing user to do this), which will make logging into your account from several sources require a different approach.
This post may help.

Re: Getting gmail to work
After I posted this, I got a notice from google that an app tried to access the account. It asked me if I wanted to decrease security and I said yes and then it worked.
I like the idea of going back to 2 step security. If I generate this special passcode, do I put that in the login info for the skin?

I do not use 2-step, so you would need to follow the instructions on your google account to generate a passcode to tell google it is okay for this application to access your account.MParolini wrote:After I posted this, I got a notice from google that an app tried to access the account. You can find the procedure on the link quoted above...
