Make skins move properly when second monitor is disconnected

Post by zeel »

I have a laptop which I connect to a second screen when I am at home. I use this screen for watching videos or playing games, but most of the time it just displays the extended desktop, while the laptop screen displays the browser or other applications. I would like to utilize Rainmeter to make this screen useful all the time (clock, weather, etc) but whenever I disconnect that screen all the skins are shifted to the main screen, to rather obnoxious locations.

Is there a way to make Rainmeter move skins to preset locations on the primary screen, or simply unload the skin, while the monitor it belongs on is not available, and then move everything back when I plug it back in?
