First check if it works, but there are no loaded skins (however if you just installed Rainmeter, probably it's not the case). Check to see if you have the Rainmeter icon in the Notification Area. Is it there?

I talked about Windows Notification Area. You can see in ikarus1969's reply where to find the Rainmeter icon.

Yes I have it on Taskbar Nothing happens when I left click on it.
Right click on it / right click Rainmeter / option - open Click on open nothing happens.

Try do Skin installer application it looks for Rainmeter skin file (.rmskin) which can not be located.

Have use Neon space rainmeter 2.5 2019
I can use Manage Rainmeter which use Demo, have added / loaded 4 things onto desktop screen BUT that's it.
Would like use some of great skins I have seen. Seems endless reading and Youtube has gotten me no were.
Downloaded 4.2 installed - have uninstalled twice and start over. I end far as I can go =same place

Any suggestions much appreciated

I would do the following:
  1. Perform the steps in this Tips & Tricks
    https://docs.rainmeter.net/tips/clean-rainmeter-uninstall/
  2. Download the latest release or even better, beta version from https://www.rainmeter.net.
  3. Install Rainmeter, using the default settings, so it is a "normal" installation of Rainmeter and will "start with Windows".
    https://docs.rainmeter.net/manual/installing-rainmeter/
  4. That will load the default Illustro skins that come with Rainmeter. Make sure they are actually showing on your screen.
  5. Left-click the Notification Area / System Tray icon for Rainmeter on the right of the Windows Taskbar. That will load the Rainmeter Manage dialog.
  6. Use Manage to unload all the loaded illustro skins.
    https://docs.rainmeter.net/manual/user-interface/manage/
  7. Find a skin you want to download and install on deviantART
    https://www.deviantart.com/customization/skins/sysmonitor/rainmeter/newest/
    https://www.deviantart.com/99villages/art/Neon-Space-Rainmeter-2-5-2019-442236472
  8. Download the desired .rmskin.
  9. Double-click the downloaded .rmskin to install it in Rainmeter.
    https://docs.rainmeter.net/manual/installing-skins/
  10. Again open Manage, and load / unload whatever skins you want.
Let me know if this helps.

I'm not a fan of that Neon Space suite as a place for a new user of Rainmeter to start, as it automatically loads a "settings" Layout that is horrifically confusing, has a "Paid - Pro" version that I hate the entire idea of, and in general is really diving right into the deep end with Rainmeter. But that's up to you. Just don't ask for help here with Neon Space. Contact the author.

Now I will try again with your excellent instructions. 5 Star all the way

May be couple days but I will post back my results. Kind of reminds me of a Safe, Almost impossible get in Until person knows combination.

I have searched Q & A

Is it possible to Save present Skin person has built / put together to use in the future if wanted? If so how?

I would like to experiment with different wallpaper and Skins.
OR is person stuck with just one. Would be nice change looks every once in awhile.
